Thanks to its wider nose and carpet that extends to the front, the CACHALOT offers greater latitude for wheelchair users.

The CACHALOT is a rigid board developed to suit a wide range of riders, from those with balance challenges to wheelchair users. Its special feature: a wider nose and carpet that reaches all the way to the front, allowing the wheelchair to be loaded directly onto the board from the front.

It can be built with a flat surface or with a cavity to accommodate a wheelchair, depending on the rider's needs and limitations. Its configuration allows the rider to to have an attendant at the back or to be completely independent, even standing up between the handles of the wheelchair, depending on limitations. It can also seat a child on the front. 

The maximum load the CACHALOT can support is 181 kg (400 lbs).

What's more, the board features an adjustable front and rear float system linked by a carbon tube. The board can be used without a float, with a single set of floats or with the two sets of floats supplied.

Lightweight thanks to its carbon frame and fiberglass floats, this system allows the floats to be slid and locked to the desired width, depending on the degree of stability required. 

Our CACHALOT model can be produced in the colors (logos) of your choice.

Manufacturing information

All our boards are made from recycled polystyrene, and production offcuts are 100% recycled.

We use products that comply with Canadian standards.
