One step at a time towards an optimum posture on your stand up paddle!
- Upper arm remains tense
- Bottom hand = tightens the contour of the oar at the inch-index level ("OK" sign)
- Paddle-stroke Technique (propulsion paddle forward only for initiation = stings far ahead, grazes the water, rears close to you and overlays out of water-near water.

Start a reverse "C" so from behind to in front 1x, then go over the board and continue a normal "C" on the other side 1x and repeat the whole thing...so Like whatIf I want to turn left, I have my left hand on the pommel and I twist my left side to the right to make an inverted "C", go over the board and "C" to the right to finish my movement. There is another technique for turning that is more used in performance...it is the tail turn which is actually a big "C" on the back of the board. Note that each corner is to be practiced with each foot position.
